Our Story

Fez Ceramics brings hand-made Moroccan pottery from the workshops of Fez straight to your table.

Every tagine, bowl and tile we sell is thrown, glazed and painted by hand. The cobalt and white patterns you see on our tagines are painted freehand by maâlems — master craftsmen who learned the motifs from the generation before them. Our zellige is still cut tile by tile with a hammer and chisel, the way it has been cut in Fez for centuries.

That means no two pieces are the same. Small variations in tone, line and glaze are part of the craft, not a fault.

We work directly with the workshops, which keeps the price fair for you and fair for the people who make the work.
